I love this time of year! Of course I love the season but I also love it because it means my birthday (as well as my oldest daughter's) is near! Regardless of the fact that I hate the aging process (are your toes supposed to hurt when you walk?) I wholeheartedly love birthdays. I think it is so important to celebrate the life of the ones you love as well as your own life! For the last 6 years I have been able to not only celebrate my life but also that of my daughter's as she and I share a birthday! It is very special indeed and I look forward to the days when we can do wonderful mother/daughter birthday activities together…I really hope she grows up to enjoy a weekend at a resort spa…it's my dream birthday wish!! =)
I was finally granted enough time by my busy schedule to make a new banner for my mantel! Both my daughter's helped me with the construction. I really used my Cricut to its' utmost on this one and I love how it turned out! The pumpkins and apples were done using that fun technique I learned from
Allison Davis at Scrap-a-palooza. The girls weren't really sure about it at first but once I showed them how it worked they thought it was the coolest thing EVER!! So, here is our new fall banner! Happy Fall everyone!
